Hello Laura: I like to work with puzzlemakers because you work attention and writting, they are very interesting and children like them a lot. In my blog I have also included one. Best regards. Mirian.
I loved your alphabet soup! It is a very simple and effective way of learning new vocab and it can be used also as a review.
I have also created a crossword using puzzlemaker and I think it is a great tool for generating puzzle activities. My only disappointment is that you cannot play online. In order to play you need to print the puzzle.
Laura congratulations. I have not managed to embed my exercises with this program. You can tell me. How you did it? I believe that the use of puzzles is fun for the student, but also they are very interesting for learning. Through play internalize the vocabulary specific of a topic. It is a very useful resource in the classroom. And you've included images.
